Life insurance for over 50

I recently turned 50, am in pretty good shape, with no existing medical conditions though I could afford to lose some weight for sure. A friend who is an agent just quoted me $1200 per year for $200,000 of life insurance.

Does that sound reasonable?

Seth, In order to answer your question I would need to know your height, weight and what length of term you are considering. (ex. 10,15,20 or 30 year term periods).
