life insurance

I have a question about my husband life insurance. we got married 5 years ago, but he has 3 kids from his first marriage. His life insurance poicy is with her ex-wife until I asked him if he change it becasue she is not his wife right now. He told me that I am going to make another policy that he put me as a trust of family and after his death I should take care of his life insurance but one of his son is 20 years that put him as a beneficiary and he has two kides under 18 that is not on his beneficiary. My question is that If he put me as a trustee , does his life insurance belong to me or am I another beneficiary or not ?

Is your husband the Owner of his policies or is his ex-wife? Secondly, those policies could be in place to satisfy his child support obligation.
If he takes out another policy and makes you the beneficiary that is different. A trustee is someone who is in charge of a trust...does he have a living trust?
